Voice & Tone

Voice is constant: it's how Revup sounds regardless of context, and it comes directly from the personality above.

Tone is what shifts depending on the situation. Four tones make up our range:

ToneWhen to use it
SeriousFor anything involving security, data, compliance, or errors, where credibility matters most.
CasualFor onboarding, tips, or day-to-day product copy, where familiarity helps reduce friction.
RespectfulAlways, but especially in support content or anywhere a user might be frustrated.
EnthusiastFor moments worth highlighting, like a new feature or a milestone, without overselling it.

A practical way to think about it: the voice is who's talking, the tone is how loud or soft they're being for that specific moment.
